Ruby on Rails Developer (W35)

We are looking for new team members to join our team at Ozgur Software Inc. and take on a full-time role in an internationally developed web application project, working remotely.

Project to be involved in:

  • A web application running 24/7 on more than 400 servers with real-time data input.
  • An international team practicing Scrum.
  • The project started in 2004, and we have been part of the team since 2007.

Qualifications sought in applicants:

  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Proficient in software development with Ruby on Rails.
  • Ability to develop applications using PostgreSQL, Redis, Javascript, Foundation/SASS, AWS SNS, or willingness to learn if not already familiar.
  • Proficient in using Git version control system.

Desirable but not mandatory qualifications:

  • React
  • D3, Crossfilter Highcharts
  • Responsive design
  • Familiarity with other cloud messaging services (e.g., AWS JMS, Azure Notification Hubs)
  • Experience with other SASS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap)
